Stones Unturned is a four-piece metalcore band out of Herndon, Virginia. The band is known for their signature seamless blend of melodic pop-punk influenced choruses, metalcore breakdowns, and traditional thrash riffs and solos. Every listener is sure to find something they'll love in their music.

Originally founded in 2019 by a group of childhood friends, the band found a new vocalist in Landon Terrell and worked hard to put out their first two EPs and a plethora of singles. These releases helped them secure victory in the 2022 Indoor Suns Record's Battle of the Bands as well as perform a variety of shows all over the DMV region. 

However in 2023, two of the founding members of the band departed and the three remaining members were forced to start over. In 2024, the band's new line up was finalized - Landon Terrell (lead vocals), Joe Reilly (guitar), Akaash Sheelam (drums, back-up vocals),  and Cameron Winslow (bass guitar) - and they pressed forward with the release of one of their strongest tracks yet, Ozymandias. 

Flashing Neon is the latest single from the band, and highlights the diverse sound that the band is known for. While much of their more recent work leaned into a heavier metalcore influenced style, this track is reminiscent of some of the pop punk influences of their earlier work. The lyrics explore themes of dream chasing and the consequences of those choices through a beautiful vocal performance from Landon, and the featuring talent Caleigh Pierce. Instrumentally, the song delivers on the riff and rhythm driven style that the band is know for while still making way for the vocal focus of the track. Just in time for the summer, this track is perfect for blasting with the windows down.

With a reinvigorated passion, this version of the line-up seeks to expand upon the crushing breakdowns and catchy hooks that materialized in their early work while incorporating new technical and stylistic elements that Cameron brings to the band.
